Williams Advanced Engineering, part of the Williams group of companies that includes the world famous Williams F1 Team, takes the cutting edge technology that has its origins in Formula One and adapts it for a range of commercial purposes. WILLIAMS HYBRID POWER AND ALSTOM COOPERATE TO DEVELOP ENERGY STORAGE TECHNOLOGY FOR TRAMSWilliams Hybrid Power and Alstom Transport have signed an agreement that will see Williams Hybrid Power’s energy storage technology applied to Alstom’s Citadis trams by 2014. Williams Hybrid Power and Alstom have entered an exclusive relationship that will see the two companies work together to adapt and develop an energy storage solution that has the potential to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of Alstom’s rolling stock.

British Olympic gold medal winning superheavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua visited the Williams Technology Centre in Qatar to test his reflexes in a highly immersive Williams Advanced Engineering motorsport simulator. He was coached by WAE simulator consultant Dean Stoneman, who had appeared with Anthony earlier that day on stage at the Aspire 4 Sport exhibition. -

WILLIAMS ADVANCED ENGINEERING TO INTRODUCE NEW ROAD SAFETY SIMULATOR AT ITS & ROAD SAFETY FORUM IN QATAR
Williams Advanced Engineering in Qatar has taken the cutting edge simulator technology used by the Williams F1 Team to train its racing drivers and adapted and extended it for use as a training tool for road going vehciles.
